Don't Match the Water Line — Match the Shape
The amount of visible water can vary from toilet to toilet. Focus on the shape and geometry of the inside of the bowl and trapway opening, not simply the height of the water.

The Perfect Plunger mobile app and toilet-geometry database are currently in development. Once available, customers will be able to take a picture of the inside of their toilet bowl using their phone. The future Perfect Plunger system is intended to compare that photograph with our planned database of toilet-bowl shapes and geometries, identify the closest match, and then recommend the Perfect Plunger design intended to provide the best fit for that toilet.

Building the Perfect Fit
The Perfect Plunger is developing a reference system based on toilet-bowl geometry. As actual toilet models are measured and 3D scanned, the planned database will grow to provide increasingly specific toilet-to-plunger matching.
The reference images on this page are currently visual comparison examples and should not be presented as completed 3D scans or verified manufacturer/model matches unless that information is provided later.
